"Dragolina! Look at her, she’s the kind of girl you bring home to mom." That's an absolutely A+ platinum grade sales pitch. Those figures are high level works of rigor and passion. Big thanks to Mr. Silva for sharing his war stories. He's a great example of being an accomplished creator who's been influenced by the best pop genres of the 80s and the 90s.
Also agreeing wholeheartedly with his theory of companies developing an aversion to risk once they scale to a larger size. There are just too many actual examples in movies and videogames where they stick to a "winning formula" that eventually results in diminishing returns.
Also great segue into the new "Cyberzoic" project guys! It's going to be amazing.
Oh yeah and Raul Julia's, "for me it was Tuesday" line is infernal.
And as per Bryan and Tadd, I'll be checking on Urusawa's "Pluto" and DWJ's Transformers.
I mean... I don't know if mom's gonna approve of Dragolina, BUT you know it's gonna make a lasting impression. Yeah David is the, man! His perspective of the overall industry for me is on point. I think that's why I wanted to work with him so badly. Also, come on, Cyberzoic is insanely cool!
