Just got back from New York comic con. Had some good times but it was also a 6/10 versus the other years I’ve been there. Ridiculously overcrowded, lots of cancelations, and very different layout than previous years. Came home with a good pile of signed books I’m happy with from smaller creators.
Yeah, it just feels like the cons are still in recovery mode. Glad to hear the hunt was fruitful at least. Always good to bite into some fresh indie books. I think my future hunts are only going to be creator's personal zines and art-books (fresh tiger milk)!
